What bag would you buy to use with these shoes

What bag would you put with these shoes? I'm thinking of buying them & they'd be for going out. I don't know what style bag would work - maybe a 40s style? I don't dress in a retro fashion but j love these shoes!

They are 70s style shoes, they are pretty cool!

I'd probably go for a silver clutch or crossbody. I like the OB one a PP has linked, the shape is good, the box style is good, velvet is good, but I would probably contrast the colour rather than try to match. More important than the bag is what outfit you'd wear with. I wouldn't try to bring more of the 40s out of them (they do have 40s elements but the overall effect is glam rock 70s). Can see those shoes going really well with slim fit trousers, a silky vest and a blazer.

The description of the shoes on the website says inspired by 1940s peep toe.
As I said I don't dress in a 40s or any retro style. I would wear them with slim legged cropped trousers or a Me + Em dress I have. I'm not a fan of silver bags though I see where you're going with that
I would like a lovely bag that would work with the shoes & a relatively plain outfit.

Lovely shoes by the way. I have some Chie Mihara via Toast sandals, they make me happy and are very comfortable.
