I've just done a bit of damage in the Hush sale! Just been perusing the Boden sale too- there's and extra 20% off sale items if you spend £100 but this code expires on the 22nd so wondering if there will be better discounts if I hang on or if this is the best it's gonna get?

No plans to buy much this year. I bought quite a bit at the beginning of winter and am only now wearing sweaters etc.
However, if a beautiful wool coat came my way, I wouldn’t say no. I’ll see what Hobbs has after Christmas.
I think there will be many heavy discounts in January. I reckon many clothes retailers are finding things tough ( and I think Boden might be in trouble).

TreacsPotNoodle · 21/12/2022 13:54

Will be stocking up on some bits for next year for DS from Zara. Their clothes go down really cheap after a couple of weeks!

Probably nothing for me as I've got a few new bits of clothes and shoes from DP for Christmas. (Unless something catches my eye🫣)

Mercurial123 · 21/12/2022 14:00

I've ordered some Isabel Marant trousers from Yoox at 85% off. I'm going to Thailand for Christmas so hopefully they arrive on time.

FancyFanny · 21/12/2022 14:00

I bought
this sequinned skirt Hope it's as amazing looking in real life and that it arrives in time for christmas day- if not I will have to engineer an occasion to wear it!
and this leopard coat in blue

I’d like a jumper from Zara but not prepared to pay the full price for something that is in the majority made of man made fibres.

YorkieTheRabbit · 21/12/2022 22:48

I ordered a jumper from John Lewis, reduced from£65 to £32, and a Hush sweatshirt which had £15 off.
They arrived today and I’m very happy with them.
I wasn’t looking for anything and don’t “need” them but I’ll definitely wear them Xmas Grin think I’ll keep a half eye out for some casual trousers of some description.

I’ve been very bad. Several items from Boden, a tee shirt from Hush and most fabulously from Other Stories - a gorgeous deep pink Balaclava (and pink gloves that were not in the sale and a great quilted jacket for £40, reduced from £120!

underthemike · 22/12/2022 00:26

@AnnieSnap - have you got a link to the jacket?

It’s this one in the green. I was lucky, they only had my size left and now it’s sold out. They have it in beige, but that’s £85.

I’m so chuffed. I love it. It feels really substantial, great quality and £40!

MistyRock · 22/12/2022 05:00

I've got my eye on a few t shirt style dresses, ones you pop on over tights but feel a bit more made up than if you're wearing jeans. Also I have 2 jumper dresses in my basket in the hope of getting them in the new year. Apart from that I'm okay. I'm definitely not going to be buying jumpers that are polyester/nylon as all the ones I bought in the sale last year look ratty AF and are only good for the bin.

superplumb · 22/12/2022 06:57

Pat mcgrath makeup. Was a 50% off a few weeks ago. Not buying clothes as my weight is yo yoing atm

Niftythrifter · 23/12/2022 14:11

I bought a stripe top from COS for £10.20. They are a style staple for me and planning on wearing it in January to help with the January blues.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/12/2022 15:40

I bought a Monsoon shirt dress for summer , last year it was so much easier to wear dresses than trousers/leggings . (I wear scrubs at work so don't need to think too much there )

DancingSober · 23/12/2022 16:01

I'm going to look for some new boots and a leather backpack for work I think. Maybe a couple of dresses for everyday too.

I'd also like some leggings and a gilet for running

Proviz have started their sale if you’re still looking a running gilet @DancingSober . I bought a BTW cheaper one a few months back otherwise I’d be doing damage .

Cinnamonandcoal · 25/12/2022 08:02

I just ordered a checked skirt from seasalt. I don't usually shop there but I liked this one.

I'm on the lookout for a black tie appropriate dress I can wear to work events, so something not too revealing. Always difficult as I'm a J cup so they are quite a challenge to cover up!

I always buy kids stuff when the sales really get going and then keep it for when they grow into it.

DancingSober · 25/12/2022 08:12

Thank you @Forestcantrun

SierraSapphire · 25/12/2022 08:37

I bought a jumper dress in the Hush sale but it's been stuck/lost in the Evri depot for over a week now.

Yes also waiting on my Hush sale order via Evri, have had the sorry it's been delayed message for over a week now.

SierraSapphire · 25/12/2022 09:15

I haven't had any email from Hush about the delay Hopealong, I did get one asking me to review my item, but it shows in the Evri app as still at the depot. I'll wait till after Christmas and chase Hush if it hasn't arrived.
