...to love this dress so much? If I buy it, can I wear it to the park? With my tree-stumpy, 8-weeks-post-natal legs? Someone please say yes?

calzone · 02/02/2008 20:53

dirtygertiefromnumber30 · 02/02/2008 20:54

fizzbuzz · 02/02/2008 20:54

brimfull · 02/02/2008 20:54

You could wear opaques to make the stumps look thinner.

and reaaaaly high heels wuld help

calzone · 02/02/2008 20:54

it is £360!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so no! you cannot wear it to the park.

it might cover your post preg bump but is v expensive imho.

Wilkie · 02/02/2008 20:54

Gorgeous but only for very very tall skinny birds (alas I am not one!)

scorpio1 · 02/02/2008 20:54

nobodysfool · 02/02/2008 20:55

HOW MUCH!!!!!!!

fizzbuzz · 02/02/2008 20:56

Didn't notice the price........

calzone · 02/02/2008 20:56

£360 for a PARK outfit??????

nobodysfool · 02/02/2008 20:59

£360 for any dress-apart from wedding dresses is way too much IMO.

Stargazing · 02/02/2008 20:59

okay, fortunately do not have post natal bump, tummy is flat again, if a little untoned.
Still carrying 8lb extra, and this seem to have gathered around my legs & butt. Not for long though, by Jove! Skinny legs are just around the corner. With an incentive liek this dress, I will lunge and squat my way to gazelle-like limbs.
Am 5'11, so can tick the 'tall' box.

And of course was joking about the park. Maybe the supermarket though? Sadly I do not frequent glam cocktail bars these days, not with two nippers under the age of 18 months. I could devise an excuse for a cocktail party chez moi, perhaps?

I gather from these comments that I am perhaps a tad extravagant. I thought £360 was quite reasonable. Some of the clothes on netaporter are over £1000!!!

OP posts:
calzone · 02/02/2008 21:01

still bloody expensive!

but beautiful

scorpio1 · 02/02/2008 21:02

i thought it was reasonable for the dress personally, it looks like one of those things you could wear differentley to lots of different things.

i however spend my £££ on bags!!

calzone · 02/02/2008 21:02

None of us shop there Star.

Try Primark for a copy!

Stargazing · 02/02/2008 21:05

(slightly mollified) well as long as you agree that it's beautiful.

I'm a tall skinny bird.

Will somebody get me it please????

nobodysfool · 02/02/2008 21:10

It it totall georgeous but pricey.
There really must be a rip off on the high st.I'm afraid if it wasn't for a special occasion i would go for the snide.

scorpio1 · 02/02/2008 21:11

i would nag DH for it (am 5'10 and normally a size 6/8) but am currently 7 months pg and fear it may not look its best

Stargazing · 02/02/2008 21:12
