My MIL has very done hair and I fancy buying her something like a nice shampoo or treatment for hair - what recommendations have you for me please?
I nearly bought the hair milk advertised on the Christmas bargain threads but wasn't sure what it was for really. I've got thin hair too so may get one each!

Aveda works, I imagine they’ve got something to boost thin hair.

My hair got really thin when I had post viral fatigue. MNers recommended Elvive Fibrology and it really did help. I used it for about a year and then my hair went back to normal.

Charles Worthington shampoos are great for this and have that luxury feel too

I had post viral hair loss, I take a big dose of iron now before bed.

Just be sure she won’t be offended by that kind of gift.

Very done should be very " fine " hair. I don't think it looks any different to the whole time I've known her but you're right about treading carefully. Maybe I'll leave it.
