Looking for perfect pair of trousers

Need recommendations.

I’m looking for wide leg, high waisted trousers in black or grey made of quite heavy material, maybe wool mix? I’ve looked at Cos, Toast, Hush, &other stories but nothing quite right!

Smart/casual.

Ideally need shorter length. Anyone bought any recently that they’ve been pleased with?

Jigsaw for trousers? Probably easier to get them taken up than give yourself even more of a needle in a haystack challenge.

Can recommend these.

Ah perfect thanks, will have a look. I ordered some from Boden in the meantime but not sure if they are quite what I wanted…I’ll report back!

The M&S crepe wide leg ones are fantastic. Heavy weight, high waisted and go in the washing machine. Mine have been going strong for a number of years.

I was about to suggest Boden.
