Alternative to m and s leather look leggings

I have M and S leather look leggings that I love but I slipped and fell on the ice the other day and I've torn them. I'm so upset because theyre now out of stock in my size. Can anyone recommend an alternative, please?

Sosandar are the nicest I've ever had

If you can afford it then I’d get the Spanx ones, the best quality ones I’ve had and totally worth the price.

I have some love leggings ones that are comfy but the coating is coming away from the seams and they’re only about a month old. Also have New look ones and they are comfy but more wet look than leather look.

Spanx are incredible

I love the M&S ones too - a bit more subtle than leather-look shiny ones. I found these ones on ebay and the pair I got do indeed seem identical to the store-bought ones. Bargain too.

I have a pair with a fleece lining from Calzedonia which I really like. Very warm and comfy to wear.

People do rave about the Spanx ones

I meant to say - they have various colours and sizes. They seem to be from the manufacturer.

DLSB do lovely ones

Teacherteachernotapreacher · 18/12/2022 18:57

What’s the fit like on the m and s ones? I’ve been meaning to order some and this thread has reminded me and those eBay ones are a bargain!

grownup2 · 18/12/2022 22:31

@Teacherteachernotapreacher Fairly standard, I'd say, and neat but not totally skin tight on average calves. Roughly the same level of stretch and fit as on the cotton high waist jeggings from M&S. Regular length looks natural on me at about 5ft 6.

M and Co do some great ones

salsamummy · 30/12/2022 17:53

I have a great pair from Sosander

AHelpfulHand · 30/12/2022 18:02

I bought some from Mint Velvet last month, and after one wear i ended up with thrush.

NHSmummy84 · 30/12/2022 18:19

Hollister do some good ones. They don't go baggy at the knees and they are fleece lined. I stick mine in the dryer after a wash and they come out perfect. I've had them 3 years and they still look new.

Wear Commando are the best around 👌🏼

BodyShapeWoes · 30/12/2022 23:30

I took a chance on a pair from SHEIN and they are fantastic rival my M&S ones (they are my for best)

I've got a few pairs:

Next coated leggings - pull on

Spanx - very expensive and not sure I like the extreme pull in qualities for everyday wear (waistband also seems to roll on me like the knickers do)- I've got similar from an online boutique for £15, same yoga style waistband, thick texture but much more comfortable.

Next Coated Jeans in black and chocolate - sized up, very comfortable and flattering
