I bought a dress off ebay but unfortunately it's too big although I do love the dress. Its very stretchy material and embellished in crystals. The inside is lined in a stretchy plain fabric. Would it be possible to have it taken in or would the fabric be an issue? I attach a pic so that you can see the style etc. Thanks in advance.

That could be taken in easy enough. Really simple if it's the waist/hips, slightly more if it's bust/shoulders but shouldnt be a problem for a professional.

Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, it's just the waist that needs taking in. I'll take it into the tailors tomorrow. Really appreciate your reply x

If the tailor's not interested try and find dressmaker/seamstress, it's not quite the same job. I'm sure a tailor could do it just fine, but I've never seen a stretchy suit.
