…Please can you recommend any other similarly light and dewy ‘foundations’?

I am happy with light/sheer coverage and am looking for something dewy / luminous rather than matte. My skin is normal.

i still love PST but I’m running out and wondered if there’s anything better on the market I should be investigating. Even if I order from glossier now who knows when it will arrive so bonus points if your suggested alternative is available on the high st.

thank you!

YSL Nu is gorgeous. Ask for a tester at Boots.

Thanks @Shitfather - what type of coverage is it?

I used Glossier for a while but moved over to this from Lumene. Its very light coverage but it feels great, and it has no orange tones (I’m very fair).

Light and dewy. I’ve used YSL Touche Eclat foundation for years, which is also light and dewy, but Nu is more of a tinted moisturiser but buildable.

Rose Inc, Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Face Serum is amazing. It looks and feels like nothing but definitely adds a tiny tint and glow.

Love the look of the YSL Nu - am finding the touché eclat foundation a bit heavy nowadays for my 50yr old skin

I'm currently using the Erborian cc cream for more foundation like coverage or Supergoop glowscreen for a more dewy no makeup look

AlabamaWorley22 · 15/12/2022 19:25

Thanks for all these suggestions. I actually tried the Rose Inc version yesterday (got a sample) and while I quite liked the finish, I found it took longer than I would like to apply, due to having to almost break down / mix in the encapsulated colour bits.

I will check out all the others tho. Very interested in the supergoop one @Lookingformymarbles - that was already on my radar but I didn’t realise it might do the trick for my current quest.

thanks for all these suggestions - I’ll feed back!

@Shitfather do you happen to know your shade in glossier skin tint and Nu? Just spotted this is on 342 at boots so I can buy this plus 2x touche eclat for only £34 today (random extra £10 off for some reason) and thinking of just biting the bullet but not sure which shade I would be…

I haven’t used the Glossier one before - apologies I should have clarified. I just tried the Nu.
