This is a bit ridiculous looking, but I'm a middle aged apple with good legs, a squishy middle and no hips, so my jeans were either painful round the middle or slipped down to look baggy. I wear long tops, so nobody needs to see my waist. I found normal belts uncomfy, bulky, restrictive and annoying to be buckling and unbuckling. This strong elastic belt clips to your jeans belt loops, making the waist more elastic and secure without a front buckle (though a round me front fastening is provided as an option). Sizing is generous and flexible. Thought I'd share it with you folks in case useful.

Top tip OP - I generally wear belts with buckle to the side to avoid the extra buckle bulge so this is brill. Thanks for sharing.

Love mine. Used to get holes in belt buckle area of all my tops and none since switching to one of these.

I bought this last time it was recommended for apples but I'm not a fan. It doesn't do the job as well as a buckled belt for me and I feel like a toddler wearing it.

I've looked as this as it sounds great but I just can't work out how it works! I've always either got my jeans top button undone or jeans are too tight. Bigger size jeans are too loose round the legs, bum etc

I don;t see how this works for apples. If you get jeans to fit your legs then the waitsband is way too small, not too large. I can see how it might be good for pears and hourglass figures but not apples.

I wear pretty skinny stretch jeans so they are not too huge on hips and thighs if I go up a waist size. The waist is then loose enough to be comfy but the extra elastic belt stops it slipping down over the non-existent hips. Guess it's all about the exact shape you are and the fit you like.

They were great when I was losing weight. Saved me taking my trousers in!
They solve that bit where the button slides down below and sticks out, while the belt fits snugly at the waist, as well.
