Stylish, grown up, Converse-like shoes?

Please help! DP (who is a woman, as am I) has a vision of an outfit in her mind and has asked for it to be completed with a gift, from me, of some shoes/trainers that are navy, a bit like Converse, only most grown up and stylish.

I am normally pretty good at shopping challenges but I’m really stumped. Does anyone have any ideas?

I’m sorry I don’t know what you mean by “grown up” because grown ups can wear converse! Or any trainer really.

Assume you mean less “fashion”, and Do you mean high tops or low? If the latter I would say Superga. Paul Green do a very "grown up" version of Converse, they are what I would go for if I wanted more high end.

I like the ugg Milo trainers in either black or white leather (I have both) and I also have some nice Gabor green suede trainers with ribbon laces.
