Can I wear this to a funeral ?

Funeral on Wednesday and skint. I have this dress and boots and would get some tights but not sure it’s appropriate.

i also have black skinnies but I tried them on with these boots and felt very dated ( and tight )

if I were to wear this dress again , casual, (not for a funeral) what would be the best footwear to go with it other than trainers ?

It's fine. Wear with black shoes or boots afterwards.
A friend wore a black shift dress and fuchsia pink tights to my fathers funeral - he would have loved it!

Thanks everyone. I was wondering about the polka dots on it and the boots have heels, not ideal for me. These are boots I bought years ago and never wore. I just stick to flats these days normally.

Perfect outfit. I don't think I've been to a funeral for years where everyone was in sombre black. You will probably find a whole range of styles and colours when you get there.

The dress is ideal OP, as will be the dark green coat. It's freezing weather at the moment and I think most people understand that a lot of people won't have a black coat or jacket in their wardrobe.
