Trendy jeans that fit extra curvy figure.

Desparatly trying to get some jeans to fit my daughter age 21. She is size 12 on the hip but about an 8 on the waist. She cannot find any fashionable jeans to fit. She has stretch skinny which are fine, mom jeans look awful on her, what she's really looking for are high waisted wide leg but all are huge on the waist. She has an amazing figure but trying to find fashionable clothes is a nightmare. Can anyone help.

I have a pair that would suit, however they are from Primark and are very long and they're cargo style. Mine are bright pink but they had them in denim too.

Sometimes having things altered is best. Buy high waisted jeans that fit really well everywhere else, and then get them taken in at the waist. It isn’t usually expensive. I have a dd with a tiny 22” waist and I get most trousers altered for her.

Has she tried 90’s style (I hear the 90’s are back!) low rise/men’s style Levi type jeans?

i could never/can’t get waisted trousers and skirts to fit as my waist:hip ratio is also off mainstream sizing.

I found men’s style or 90’s low rise hang off my hips nicely, not the muffin top look or aguilera style revealing, but an inch or so below the belly button.

this kind of thing: model is not quite so curvy but if you have hips they sit above :)

You could try PrettyLittleThing's Shape range - it's cut for a bigger waist/hip difference compared to the standard 10 inches. Last time I bought sthg it was 14 inches diff but seems to be more like 12 looking at the site today. Most things seem to have lots of stretch too.
There's also a YouTuber who's possibly a similar size to your DD called Vantoee who reviews lots of clothes (including PLT which is why I came across her)

Try the brands aimed at teens. I know your DD is 21 but I'd look at brands like Brandy Melville and the like, or look at 90s vintage second hand. The waists were smaller then even if the number on the label looks the same

Levi's Demi-curve. not sure if they still do them, but you can get them on sites selling pre-loved

ASOS do an hourglass range which would work

The Levis curve range and Gap Curvy range, might have to look on ebay but such a good fit.

Cos do high waist trousers with waist adjusters. They're maybe a bit old for a teen though
