Help me find a nice knitted jumper for DS!

DS1 (14-15) is at an awkward age to find clothing for. He's about 5'3" so not tall, and pretty slender, but doesn't fit kids' clothing under about age 13. But is too shrimpy slender and small for most size S adult male clothing! I also tend to buy him women's socks if I want a cute design on them, as men's socks swamp his size 5s.

Right now, I'd like to get him a non-Christmassy knitted jumper. He has hoodies, he hates sports and branding so not remotely interested in a logo top. I'd rather a plain (maybe marled) colour, probably darkish like burgundy, deep green, navy, nice brown etc. Stripes are ok. Not sure about Fair Isle but open to suggestions.

I can't find anything! Either it doesn't exist in his size or it's now out of stock in his size. If it helps, I'd have liked this John Lewis jumper but I think it would need to be at least a 13 or 14 and they only have it up to 12. www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-kids-space-dyed-stripe-half-zip-jumper-blue/p109129911

He's fussy about 'itchy' wool and I'm not about to fork out for cashmere, acrylic is fine given he's still growing and wants something to mess about in/feel cosy in this winter.

Have you tried Pull and Bear? I used to find their sizing good when DS was at the between kid/adult sizes stage. Other continental brands sizes generally come up a bit smaller as well we've found
