Has anyone found a foundation that doesn't accentuate pores/lines?
Now I'm nearing 50 my skin is changing and the foundation I'm using just seems to.make my skin look worse.
Any hints/tips or foundation recommendations greatly received.

I stopped wearing it during lockdown, and now just use a concealer.

Thank you, I feel self conscious without it, as my skin has huge pores and is uneven, but I'm not sure it's actually doing anything for me .

Use a primer first?

I’ve got a Clarins one I quite like, applied with a brush. Sometimes I mix it with their double serum for a dewy look.

Lots of hydrating products as your base and L'Oréal True Match foundation.

Chanel vitalumiere (original, not aqua)

Im 50 and have a lot of skin problems, and find Tarte to be excellent. I moisturise, leave it dry then add a serum. Foundation on top. Thin layer all over, then extra" patches"on just problem areas, that way you dont end up with a thick mask.

I'll add to the "use a really really good primer". I find that regardless of which foundation I use (any of the lancome lines, il makiage) if I don't use a primer, just moisturise, then they all show up my pores.

I've got the Clarins SOS primer? Which seems to work well for me, and as it's tinted there's times I've just got away with wearing it without foundation. Having said that, I don't know what wearing primer every day would do - I tend to wear full on make up for 2-3 days and then do minimal on the days I wfh.

Lots of primers conceal large pores. You’ll probably find you don’t need a foundation, with the right one. I’ve definitely found as I’ve aged that less is more.
