I'm at a total loss as to what to wear to my work Christmas do. Im 34 and gave birth to a a baby boy 3 months ago. My chest is ample to say the least, 36J according to boob or bust. I'm now a size 18 top and 16 on the bottom. Classic apple shape and live in baggy tops and leggings atm. I bought these two wrap dresses but they look like dressing gowns on me

I'm short (5ft 2) was thinking about a top and trousers/ leggings? I'm struggling not to look frumpy in what I've tried so far. I think I am trying too hard to hide my chest which is impossible. Any ideas from wise style gurus of mums net?

What about something halter neck which then flares out?

Whatever you choose you need a V neck. I'm a 36HH. And if it's long sleeves pull them up to 3/4. A rubber band will hold them in place and not be seen.
Tunic and tapered 7/8 trousers.

Sorry posted too soon. I once hear a woman say "build the outfit from the shoes"! She was very well put together.

I'm 5,2 and a size 16-18, with 36j boots (well one is, since bfing two kids the other is a bit smaller but that's another story.

I do well in short (above the knee) dresses, which are well fitted, with a v neck, and structured shape. I have had to get an alterations specialist to take dresses up at the skirt and the torso because they're too long all over.

I bought this recently and it was fab. I am 30HH and a size 12/14. I didn't feel like my boobs or bra was peeking out, the waist sat at my waist, my stomach didn't out. Would recommend trying.

I think the Wallis ones look like dressing gowns because they're satin and they're too long.
You'd be better with a thicker fabric which would hold you in a bit and a shorter length because you're petite. The wrap / v is the right neckline for your bust.
