Can I wear a black teddy coat to an interview?

Got an interview next week really don't have many clothes.
Will a black teddy coat, smart black trousers and a smart blouse and boots cut it?
Not had an interview for over 12years.
Not had a job for over 5.
Really need to get back into work.

Unless the interview is happening outside, I don’t feel like the coat counts as part of the outfit. As long as it’s not offensive or so old and tired you look homeless I think you’re good to go.

It's an office but not that formal more part of the leisure industry.
I do like it and feel very comfortable in it.
Hoping it shows I am young hip and happening to hide my actual age which is pretty high to be going back into work after 5 years overseas.
I am really a bit out of touch.

A cost should be removed, if it's an entry level admin, retail, hospitality etc type job then that's fine. If it's management level you need a jacket

Yes the coat will be removed but first impressions and all that.
Might still wear a jacket underneath if I can find one in time, if not will be smart trousers and a smart blouse.
