Or is there another miracle product or gadget I don't know about?

Thanks :)

Shamelessly following! I love LVL but also can’t justify the cost. Makes me look so much more awake.

I do my own lashlift with a kit by iconsign (the glue that comes with it is rubbish though so I buy that separately), I think the price fluctuates but usually around or under £20 and it'll do a couple of lift sessions. There's plenty of YouTube tutorials to show how it's done so you can have a look at those to see if you want to see if you're up to it, first time it definitely feels challenging but with the right glue and a bit of practice it's not that hard. One thing a lot don't mention is that you should only apply the perm solution to the roots of the lashes, not all over. I also tend to leave time between treatments.

If you just want an eyelash curler rec, I like the Shu Uemura one and the one by Kevyn Aucoin but it does really depend on your eye shape and some people find any one will do at any budget 🤷

Agree with botemp it's pretty easy to DIY.
I started doing one eye then the other but am confident enough to do both at the same time now.
Also dye them a day or so after with Refectocil eyelash dye. I think this hold the perm and colour better but it could just be me, as its obviously done at the same time in the salon
