If you have thick hair...

...is it because you have a lot of hair or because the actual hair strands are wide?

For me it’s both

More the amount of hair I have

I definitely have a lot of strands of hair. It falls out a lot yet still have loads! Not sure about the thickness of each strand.

Both. Although the texture has smoothed out as I've got older and it's softer.

Done hair, a lot of it, when i used to have it professionally coloured hairdressers always commented as it took longer and more product. In its natural state its quite shrubby!

Every hairdresser I have ever had had told me I have a lot of hair. I think they mean actual number of hairs rather than thickness of each hair but now you have me wondering!
I also have always had a very hot head which can be good in winter and not so good in summer 😁
