Where best to sell a Mulberry handbag?

MummyDummyNow · 25/11/2022 19:45

I have a brand new Mulberry handbag that I won in a competition. I love Mulberry bags but this one is not really my cup of tea and to be honest I could really do with some extra money rather than a fancy handbag.

Does anyone know if it'd be better to sell on eBay, Vinted or somewhere else?

Watching because I have an old one and am interested.

Watching as well.

I would use service, for example I've used this and can recommend www.npnbags.co.uk/

Look for a seller that specialises in designer bags. I follow a company on insta. I'll see if I can find it.

MrsPerfect12 · 25/11/2022 20:03

Addictedtohandbags1 is the insta page

I recently sold one a Mulberry selling Facebook page.

Which one is it 👀

Mulberry swap and sell on Facebook.
There are a few Facebook ones.

strawberry2017 · 25/11/2022 21:39

Don't bother with Vinted, people want everything for stupidly cheap prices. It's really annoying!

Gingerbreadcandle · 25/11/2022 21:43

One of the specialist Mulberry groups on face book where they are verified to make sure they are not fakes.

TattiePants · 25/11/2022 21:46

NaughtiPigeon is great if you want a hassle free transaction but she does charge a large commission. There are a few buy/sell Facebook groups that are good - look for ones that have lots of members and they do have lots of rules around the number of pictures you need to include etc which helps protect everyone. If you are in any doubt about its authenticity then have it authenticated first (think it's £5ish).

Abcdefgh1234 · 25/11/2022 21:46

What is it? I want trying to find some mulberry bag.

TattiePants · 25/11/2022 21:48

For the people looking for Mulberry bags try these Fbk groups :
Mulberry Swap & Sell
Mulberry - New & Preloved - Buy, Swap & Sell
Mulberry Buy & Sell
Exclusively Mulberry

Steer clear of eBay as you will probably get ripped off. I never sell anything valuable on there anymore due to scammers.

I've sold a bag to this site before - the guy who runs it is really great and knowledgeable

breakarchive.com

There's Vestiaire too, not sure of the commission

MummyDummyNow · 26/11/2022 10:12

Thanks so much all, I will take a look at all suggestions.

I did think on Vinted people always want thanks for peanuts and eBay always worried about being scammed!

Thanks again

Labels Most Wanted. Louise is a Mulberry specialist.

Eastereggs1 · 26/11/2022 14:52

The Mulberry Facebook groups are your best bet tbh, everyone on them is really nice and you are less likely to be scammed.

Vinted and eBay are ok. Bags seem to sit on eBay for ages and people on Vinted are only out for a bargain so you’ll get loads of rubbish offers.

A word of warning - Mulberry don’t hold their value for resale even if brand new! I would expect to sell £100/£150/£200 below retail depending on the bag.

Gateoverriver · 11/04/2023 07:21

Yep, the facebook pages mentioned above.

JMTWords · 11/04/2023 20:29

I’ve bought from NPN and Labels Most Wanted but never sold. I can say customer service from both was good.

I think you can also sell Mulberry via Net a Porter x Reflaunt.

RudsyFarmer · 11/04/2023 20:34

Which one is it?

BridgetRandomfuck · 11/04/2023 20:36

Vestiaire Collective are good but they do take quite a chunk in commission. I sold an old Prada handbag on there recently, price was £120 I got about £90 of that.

MummyJ12 · 11/04/2023 20:37

I have sold through Hardly Ever Worn It (HEWI) or Vestiaire. Both good websites for buying and selling.
