A home blow dry product for straight hair?

I never “do” my hair properly, I just air dry it and it looks lank and boring. It’s VERY straight and fine . There’s an overwhelming amount of gimicky looking products out there- any real life recommendations for something, and not going to break the bank?

I think I might have quite similar hair - dead straight and very fine.

Do you want a product or tips about how to blow dry?

If former I use Aveda speed of light accelerator followed by some Charles Worthington shine spray once it's dried.

For the blow dry itself I'm lucky enough to have a decent hairdryer (parlux), I roughly dry it with my head tipped over and then to finish off I section it and use a round blow dry brush on each section. My main aim is to get some volume at the roots and stop the ends flicking out but under (I have a blunt cut bob).

My hairdresser actually taught me to blow dry about 3 years ago as she was so sick of me not presenting her fab cut/ colouring well but there are quite a few videos on youtube.

I use this as I also have fine straight hair and it really boosts the volume.

(Ooh just seen the price - ordering now 😁)

Thanks all, that all sounds very good, I’ll check those out now. I do have a parlux, I’m just slap dash and don’t dry it fully or properly! Any gadgets to do the job would help, and those products sound good, thank you

(As you can see from the fact I last bought it in January, a little goes a long way - I dry my hair about three times a week)

Which @willithappen one? There seem to be different types….

Can vouch, this dryer is the business. I only wish I could turn the temperature down a bit.

I'm have very long, fine but a lot of it hair. A decent heat protector will be essential. I like the Lee Stafford one from Boots x

Great thanks everyone, I’ll reserved one in Argos, so excited!

HVN air dry cream, just put a bit on your fingers run it through damp hair and it dries a lot sleeker and smoother. Game changer!
