first time waxing may I add! I had been controlling said garden by other methods before today

It wasn't too bad but I'm a bit concerned about the bruise coloured pattern that immediately appeared between top of leg and Mary on one side.

Is this normal? If not what did I do wrong?

I tried this but all I got was a nasty greasy soggy fanjo area! I did it with a free Veet sample that came thro the front door.. I am thinking maybe it was old and gone off! (The veet sample not my fanjo....)

I'm not really sure what I did wrong to be honest.. I didn't even get rid of any hairs!!

I am subsequently sticking to my razor...

Soggy? Hope I don't have that to look forward too. Only waxed in preparation for child free night away in hotel on friday. Dh might just develop a 'headache' if he sees that I look like my lady bits have been beaten.

Free samples maybe there's a reason they are giving it away LOL

Oh - I wanted to ask about this - every time I wax bikini line the regrowth starts with super-itchy red bumps which don't appear to respond to moisturiser, etc. Does this happen to you?

babalon · 30/01/2008 21:05

Oh no now I really wish I'd stuck with immac!
HABBIBU I'll let you know in a few days probably friday when my DH has left me due to my hidious ex lady garden!

I had mine waxed professionally & the first time it looked a bit blotchy for a few days. I was really worried about it but if you google this seems to be normal.

I just slapped on lots of this aloe vera & cucumber cream to soothe it & wore big knickers - tight trousers are meant to be avoided, but didn't bother with that. Oh & avoid using perfumed soap on the area for a while. Savlon is also meant to be quite good & you're meant to avoid sex. (ok i did look at lots of websites!)

I'm now just worried about ingrowing hairs ... apparently you need to exfoliate once it's not as sore & painful.

owww , get some aloe vera on it quick or it'll flare up by morning and be even less attractive.
