Spanx have legs in them but, as a veteran of ahem 'supportive foundation wear' they are hands down the best in terms of quality. I have one pair and wear them often ie anytime I go out and they are still perfect after almost two years.

CaptainCod · 30/01/2008 17:38

have looked in archives
endi doens like her spanx
someone says that the spanx are better fabric than the s and t one

oilve has marks one

Spanx are good quality, hold you in, give you a smooth silhouette and wash really well and vitally don't roll down.

Carmenere · 30/01/2008 17:40

I would definitely get that one cod, it will last and work.

CaptainCod · 30/01/2008 17:40

i have about 15 pairs of these "suck em in pants"

but whilst in Primark recently we saw they sold them for ridiculously small amounts of money.
i said there was no way they would work being so cheap so pulled a pair on over my leggings.

Well i ate my words! they made me at LEAST 2 inches thinner around the waist.
i bought a pair immediatly and they are far better than all teh others..including spanx

Mine are from Asda - AMAZING results for a tenner

NomDePlume · 30/01/2008 17:46

cod, are you know long gymbunny fish ?

I have a pair by M&S, they are pretty good but have legs. I have Spanx pants ones with a long body (they sort of come up to under your boobs), they are good but give CHRONIC VPL.

NomDePlume · 30/01/2008 17:46

OMG, I meant to type 'NO LONGER GYMBUNNY FISH'

MAMAZON · 30/01/2008 17:48

pmsl well i normally buy them in the size below what i am actually wearing ( so a size 14 would buy a 12) but when i tried the primark ones in a size below i couldn't breath so yeah, just stick to your normal size with those ones lol

honestly i was so impressed. and i dont normally "do" Primark

brimfull · 30/01/2008 17:48

cod get one fo these here fab and no roll down problemo

Hassled · 30/01/2008 17:49

Ahem - Cod - were you not telling us all that "fat will out" (re suport underwear)sometime before Christmas? Please tell me that this isn't pre-interview nerves (good luck, btw) taking over. And you were quite right, fat does out - but with the M&S jobbies, it outs around the armpit area, which is fine.

brimfull · 30/01/2008 17:49

here
