What would you wear with this jumper dress?

I can’t go bare legged like in the pic, I have chicken skin. I bought some black jeggings to go under it but that didn’t look right either. Would leggings look better? With long boots?

What would you wear with this jumper dress?

I'd wear thick, woolly tights.

CraigDavid · 18/11/2022 09:43

Opaque black tights

CatsEatDogs · 18/11/2022 09:52

It really annoys me when they advertise a jumper dress with bare legs. If it’s cold enough to wear a woolly polo neck jumper dress then there’s no way bare legs would be appropriate. They should style it better.
I would wear opaque tights

strawberryblue · 18/11/2022 09:53

Tights x fleece lined inside one or black tight ones or cable knit oatmeal coloured ones xx

GreenBooks · 18/11/2022 10:04

Black thick tights and ankle boots, long coat.

Me too

MrsSkylerWhite · 18/11/2022 10:06

Got one just like that!
Wooly tights and below knee boots work for me.

This is what I would wear too.

Bluesheep8 · 18/11/2022 13:08

I'd wear navy or charcoal tights and dark brown boots

DameHelena · 18/11/2022 13:09

Short boots and opaque tights. Black tights are a bit boring though. How about mustard?

TheProblemIsMe · 18/11/2022 13:15

Thick grey tights and chunky black boots could be cute?

Niftythrifter · 18/11/2022 13:53

I seem to be all about the fun coloured patterned tights lately so I would go with those. At the moment I am wearing a lore denier but when it gets colder I’ll up it. I would colour clash and go for an emerald pair of tights and black boots.

Niftythrifter · 18/11/2022 13:54

Low denier

LoobyDop · 18/11/2022 14:08

Opaque tights. Either black or coloured, but smooth, not woolly- I don’t like knitted and knitted together, I think different textures is better. And either ankle or knee length boots.

LionHiding · 18/11/2022 14:09

I think the ankle boots would be more current - knee length with that type of dress looks a bit dated imho

Shameus · 18/11/2022 14:36

Thanks everyone, I’ll invest in both opaque and woolly tights. I’ve never worn dresses or skirts before - I live in jeans so I think colour clashes are a bit adventurous for me yet 😂

If you wear a red dress, emerald tights and ankle boots you'll look like a Christmas elf.

WhereAreWeNow · 19/11/2022 21:38

I'd wear black tights and boots.

Yes, smooth but warm. 200 denier.

CharlotteStreet · 20/11/2022 13:04

I'd wear it with black leggings (rather than jeggngs) and knee high boots although ankle boots would work too
