Best jeans for mum tum

Hi all,
A (mostly) happy mum to 2 beautiful girls. I’m looking for recommendations/advice of where to find some affordable and comfy jeans.
After having 2 babies and a love of food - my waist line has definitely expanded. I’ve always had wide hips and now with a mum tum as well my waist/belly area is probably between a size 16-20 depending on the shop 🫤
My legs however have not gotten any larger and are the same size they always have been.
Pairs of jeans I’ve got previously have either fit lovely on the waist and looked like clown pants on my legs. Or fit my legs perfectly and not even come close to fitting when getting to my tummy area.
It would be nice to have a couple of pairs of comfy jeans and not have to live in joggers/leggings forever.
Any advice appreciated

Places I’ve tried previously: SHEIN, Matalan & New Look. Maybe I’ve just been unlucky but it feels like the makers of jeans assume that your bottom half is all the same size which in my case certainly isn’t true 😢

Hi Op I would try Lucy and Yak they are pricey but seem to be a hit with most I've just ordered the Dana mom jeans myself to try on and I've some of the dungarees which are great and a dress.
You can also check out eBay as they sell Lucy and Yak stuff second hand cheaper.

Jamie or Joni top shop off asos! Often 20% off. Not too pricy.

I love jeans from www.landsend.co.uk and I’m wearing some right now!

It’s an American company (I used to live in the States) but they sell clothes for women, men and children and some homeware items from their UK base in the Midlands.

All their products are top quality and although not ‘high fashion’ - I think their target market is ‘middle America’ - their basics like jeans are superb. They go up to size UK28 in jeans too, and a variety of colours and fit (regular, petite and plus) and straight leg/skinny/high waist/mid-rise/lift and sculpt etc.

Btw: they always have sales on, it’s rare to pay the regular price for anything :)

Another US brand is “NYDJ” (Not Your Daughter’s Jeans) but in the UK I’ve only seen them in John Lewis. Fabulous quality but expensive!

Good Luck!
