Black dress to a winter wedding

I am going to a wedding in Germany at the beginning of December. I have been trying to find a dress to wear, but I struggle because I am very pear shaped and need something which fits at the top but then flares out over my wide hips and big bum. I found this dress on the M&S website and it looks like it might do the trick. I’m just a bit worried because it’s black.

Would it be ok for a winter wedding in Germany or should I keep looking?

Found these two (from John Lewis) for another thread about winter weddings, both look to have flared skirts

I think if I was going to wear black to a wedding I’d wear a coloured jacket (e.g. cream/pink) to make it look more weddingy. Nice dress, though.

I was at a wedding of my niece and quite a few people were wearing black. It was no big deal as long as you are not part of the wedding party.
