How did you find confidence in how you look?

36 mum of two with no style. I chuck on trousers and a top, whatever I've either been given or found in the sale but don't really feel put together and often bit tight where I've never lost that weight always talking about needing to loose... my hair gets chucked up in a pony tail, I never know what to do with it especially the front bits as I have a hair lip at the front so can never get it to sit nicely. Make up is mainly a bit of concealer and a lash lift as mascara smudges around my eyes too easily. I don't have money to splash to get a new wardrobe but im ashamed of how I look and want to feel better in what I wear. Even if I was given money I would feel overwhelmed in shops and not know what to buy as I just have no sense of style. Has anyone felt like this and managed to get a bit of confidence in what they like or what to wear? Part of me thinks if I can get nice hair and make up that's half the battle perhaps to looking a bit more put together? Any tips?

I think you mean cow's lick!

Have a look at MM Personal Styling on YouTube for some ideas.

I started running and got a body that made trying and pulling off different clothes so much easier. I also felt fit and more motivated about dressing up. Grooming too. So get a ladyshaver or make more effort with what you have. If i try to experiment with clothes but aren’t well groomed nothing works. Then I would say try accessories like some matching silver jewellery. I like to clean it once a month as it tarnishes with some cheap jewellery cleaner that takes seconds but I can shower in it which makes life easy as a mum.
