Sun cream that doesn't make me look like I've run a marathon when I've got a bit hot!

Bare with me! Hah.
I'll set the scene...

Wake up, wash face and apply Tropic sun cream factor 50 spf. Husband comments that I look like I'm melting 😂

Leave for 30 mins or so, and apply some concealer and powder.

Do school run, tend to walk fast and get a bit hot and bothered.

Face looks all shiny, sweat sitting on the top and make up falling off. Look like mess! And then my hair sticks to my face which is even more infuriating!

Help!

I like this sun cream, and I've tried others but they seem to go a bit flaky once make up is applied. It is needed as I'm using retinol, and I'm very, very pale!

What I'm looking for:

A good sun cream, factor 50, which absorbers well, goes with make up, is water proof but doesn't make me look like I'm 'melting'.

I've been using this recently, absorbs quickly and good on it's own or under make up.

NIVEA UV Face SPF50 Q10 Anti-Age... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07C8G9XSL?ref=ppxpoppmobappshare

Ps I'm using Tretinoin so need factor 50 too.

Heliocare is fantastic. Factor 50, oil-free and tinted if you like. Can completely replace make up otherwise the non-tinted one works as a great primer too.

There’s loads of options- this question comes up a lot. There’s no need to put up with chalky or greasy SPFs. All I say is get something that suits your budget. For example I’d quite like to try the Goop one but it’s over what I want to keep paying as you go through SPF like mad. I almost don’t want to find I like it.

LRP or Eucerin do good ones.

Ultrasun are good - really light weight, I have dry skin and don’t get flaking with it

Thanks for the recommendations, i am going to try them out.
I'm glad this question comes up a lot, I'll have a look!
