Thinking about Christmas party and New Year's Eve and need a party dress.

What's everyone wearing- I need inspiration

I'm a size 16 aged 50

I’d be wearing evening trousers and a sparkly top. I have three different outfits in three different colours. However, I won’t be going to any parties so they will stay in the cupboard.

I’ve got a sequin self
portrait cropped vest and high waisted flared APC jeans I got for a bargain in the matches sale plus i got a sparkly lime green long dress from self Portrait too. I’ve got various parties and dinners so going to wear those outfits a few times I think. I’m excited to finally have a proper london December. Had a tough year - massive grief and business struggles to deal with. So I deserve some fun and sparkles I’ve told myself, before the misery of January kicks in.

I’m 47 btw so pretty close to you.
what sort of things are you looking at?

I’m 41 and a size 18.

I have a slot length dusky pink long sleeved dress with beading for a formal party and a dark red fully sequinned just above the knee long sleeved dress for a more informal party.

I have also had two parties already. One was an electric blue satin wrap dress, shin length, and the other a long sleeved turquoise satin dress about the same length.

But yes, really depends on what you are after
