Anyone else look ridiculous in sunglasses?

I know it's winter and we dont have much use for them now but I just splashed out on some lovely (or so i thought) celine sunglasses as I'm going away next month... they looked nice when I tried them on in the shop about 5 seperate times to make sure.. Now I've taken the plunge and bought them, trying them on at home I just feel ridiculous.

I've got sunglasses in 3 different shapes and trying them on today I just feel like none suit me. Anyone else?!

I feel your pain. I look bloody ridiculous in glasses. I have some oversized ones that I thought looked stylish but just look stupid when I look back at photos of my holiday.
I think it’s part of the look though. If my hair was washed and loosely curled rather than stuck to my face with a smear of the kids ice lolly, and my face wasn’t a sweaty, suncreamy, spotty and shiny beachball the glasses might have had the look I was going for 😎

Same! I thought it was just me!

I think feeling ridiculous ( as so many people do in anything they don't usually wear) is a totally different kettle of fish to actually looking ridiculous. I can't remember a single occasion in my life where I've seen another person in sunglasses and even thought anything of it, much less scrutinised the specific style relative to their face etc. So many people wear them it just looks a very normal thing.

I used to chronically avoid them, and hats for similar rationale but have since stopped caring and now both feel normal and I enjoy wearing them when I do as part of the outfit. I'm sure they look more than fine.

Yeah I echo the above poster! Just wear them everyday. I do. You'll get use to wearing them and you'll see them as normal. No one is scrutinising you.
