Read this before buying from Christie:
I purchased one of Christie's rings for $300, but when I revisited the site a few days later to search for clues regarding the price-to-value proposition of the piece, I saw the same ring at 50% off (!) - a price point that seemed to make more sense given the look and feel of the ring, which would be more fitting for a Kinder (Surprise) Egg or a Christmas Cracker surprise from David Jones, in my opinion.
Christie also has a 'no change of mind' post-sale return policy, which might be indicative of her lack of confidence in her own product offering.
Needless to say, prior to my review, I reached out to Christie looking for a retrospective price adjustment, given the cheap and child-like look and feel of the ring and the subsequent price cut but received no response from her.
The ring will go to my 12-year-old niece for Christmas instead of my wife, so it is not all lost, and I also hope that others will find my review of interest before starting to pay growing-up prices for kids' jewelry - just my opinion, based on my own genuine experience and perception.
