Work Christmas party - masquerade ball at a race course.
I'm short and fat, with a lot of weight around my tummy (5ft3 and size 16, very much an apple shape).
I also have a tiny budget - around £30.
Help please!

Similar shape

Id blow the budget on a beautiful mask to be a talking point at the masquerade. Pick one in a colour which matches an existing cover up kind of frock. Do you have anything suitable? Even plain black will recede by comparison to the beautiful mask.

Lots of googling, there are furiously expensive masks but I have will diligent searching found some around the £20mark. Black and gold very popular.

Those masks are gorgeous on etsy but a nice dress you will get lots of wear from vs a mask you'll wear once.

Like that shein green one. Shame most sizes sold out.

I really like the Shein one too but I've been burned by them in the past - thought I was getting a bargain and turned out to be nasty and tiny.

Just seen this on a separate thread that looks lovely if you want a longer dress.

This could be nice on someone with different proportions but the top half is hideous on the model! Doesn’t do a big bust any favours. I think I audibly gasped.

Love the shoes and socks/tights with it though.
