Do I just accept that my hair will never be the same again ?

I'm late 40s and possibly perimenopausal, or just about to start it.
My hair is very think/coarse/wiry/curly/frizzy. I straighten it and have done for the last 20 years.
The last year its not sat how it used to. I've not changed styles/products or method to style it. It's almost like its just given up. Its become much more harder to style.
Do I just accept that it will never sit like it used to and that I will never be totally happy with how it looks again ?

Talk to your hairdresser, a different cut/cutting technique might be needed, and they might be able to recc different products. Menopausal/perimenopausal hair is a Thing, you're right. Don't give up.

I’d say embrace your curls and look to enhance them.

I’ve had to embrace the curly girl method and let it do it’s own thing. My meno hair has become like steel wool 😫. Am also taking a hair, skin, nails supplement. But so far only the nails benefitting!
