Work Christmas do at the start of December; I need a party dress but don’t have a lot of money. I like the look of this one, but I can’t figure out what I would wear on my feet. I’ve never learned how to walk in heels (I’m 5.10 and spent my formative years wanting to be shorter. At 44 it’s too late to learn now) and I want to dance and be comfortable anyway. Any ideas, wise people of MN?

Pointy flats could work

i am 6ft and never wear much of a heel, and like to pair a dress like this with my silver pointy flats

am quite low key though, and not very fashion forward

Thank you all, you have convinced me and I’ve just ordered the dress! This is exceptionally organised for me. I’m usually panicking about having nothing to wear at the last minute.

Now I’ll look into shoes. Unfortunately I have big feet to match my height (size 7.5/8) which might be a bit limiting.

I always wear flats and if you want to look glam the pointy toe ballet flats are a good option!

I have the same size feet as you OP but I'm 5'7. I tend to find pointed flats make my feet look even bigger. A perfect option to go with this dress would be some sparkly round toe flats but not sure there's many of those about?
