My favourite old black leather LK Bennett's which I keep under my desk in the office and change into when I get to work are reaching the end of their natural life and I need a new pair before the Xmas party.
Yes they're dated, yes nobody with any true feminist consciousness mind would wear anything so restrictive to appease the patriarchy, but I'm short, all my work attire looks better with heels, and my hearing is so bad that an additional 4 inches makes a significant difference to my chances of hearing what a six foot bloke is saying to me: conversations in pubs literally pass over my head.
Where would you recommend for a perfect pair of black leather or suede 3 or 4 inch heels? They need to be reasonably comfortable and decent quality because I want to keep them for a while but I'll never have to walk further than next door to M&S Food for a lunchtime sushi in them or wear them in the rain. Slightly balking at LK Bennett full price, but I guess on a cost per wear basis it's forgivable.
And any suggestions on toe shape? Old ones were almond which really does look a bit dated now.
