What sort of nails should I get?

Ive been trying to grow 4 of of nails but they are still very short and messy. The others are ok.

I’ve got a family event tomorrow night then next weekend we are going away and I want my nails to look nice.

Local salon does gel nails. SNS and normal manicures. What shall I go for to last at least a few weeks? I will need nail extensions on the short ones.

Yes, everybody is getting forrest green - the first time I saw it was in the summer and I assumed it was to match a bridesmaid dress or something, but since then I've seen so many.
