Is Chanel perfume cheaper in France?

I'm off to France next week and was wondering if Chanel is cheaper in France. I am after a bottle of Chanel 19 Poudre which is around £120 for a bottle here. Is it likely to be cheaper in France?

Nothing is cheaper in France anymore. Maybe Duty Free?

The official price for the perfume in Europe is €147, you might be eligible for a VAT refund if you buy in a large department store or similar that's set up for that. It usually works out as a 10% discount, but in essence, it'll probably be around the same price. I do see it on offer for €119, but I'm in another European country not France so you might have luck if one of the larger perfumery chains runs a similar promo on it.

Should specify, prices above are for 100ml, for 50ml prices are around €110 but looks to be unavailable everywhere, so maybe discontinued?

No not really

Is anything cheaper in Europe any more?

Why don't you just wait until Black Friday in a few weeks time as John Lewis (and probably any other department store that carries Chanel perfume/has a Black Friday promo) will offer 10% off. Maybe not a chic as buying in France, but at least you'll know for certain that it will be cheaper.
