Black petite work trousers Reiss, Hobbs or somewhere else

I'm starting a new job, and I need some smart black trousers - I haven't purchased anything like this for about 15 years.

Can anyone recommend any of these or something different...

H and M do cigarette trousers in black in the petite section. Last time I bought them was admittedly last year but from what I recall they were less than £20 a pair and washed well and were great quality.

The trend now is for wider legged and looser fitted trousers with a jacket. I was in London last week and loads of women wore this look. Smart blizer/jacket, blouse, wide legged trousers, boots/brougues/smart white trainers.

I've ordered a pair from M&S to try on.

M&S have about 100 different lines of black trousers, many of which include petite. They would be my first stop.

Hobbs trousers are great quality.
M&S are really good for different lengths.
I really like Uniqlo trousers for work too. Have a look at their wide leg pleated trousers. They're high waisted and super flattering.

Boden petite worth a look too

These are actually brilliant for the price, and the short length is perfect on me (5' 3') M&S straight leg trousers

Uniqlo - it's a Japanese company and generally looks good on petite people even in its regular ranges
