Would anyone like to dress me?

I am 55, 5’4” size 8-10
small boobs, athletic body
i literally don’t know what to wear 😢 I do a lot of running and cycling so most of my clothes are sports wear and other than that I tend to wear jeans and a jumper - but I want to look nice too! Even my jumpers
aren't that nice! don’t want to look fuddy but I don’t want to dress too young either. Any advice greatly received 🥰

Oh you sound similar to me, I've accepted that dressy is not where I'm ever going to be and concentrate now on elevated versions of jumpers, sweatshirts and hoodies and really nice well fitted jeans.....I get a lot from Zara, they can be great for quirky colourful jumpers and cardigans, I get fitted T-shirts from H&M to wear underneath. Jeans are mostly from Hollister 🙈 I find shops aimed at teenagers fit on my small hips, I'm almost straight up and down but quite booby

Oh yes, great trainers, whatever is particularly fashionable so no middle aged Stan smiths or whatever, mostly New Balance and Nike

I'd recommend capsulewardrobedaily for ideas on the basics that build a wearable wardrobe and also Thefashionlift (as you sound similar in size) as she uses high street brands and always looks great.

Similar age, height, and more a 10-12 than an 8-10! This build gives you loads of options to buy ‘young’ and mix it up. Sounds like you have a great shape and with an athletic build, you can wear pretty much anything. I’d look at Adidas Gazelle trainers, slim jeans/cords, merino or cashmere sweater, wool pea coat or quilted jacket. Go for texture, luxe feel like suede, chenille, wool, silk, that flatter your frame - eg slim fit bottoms, with oversized coat.

Sounds like a perfect figure for well fitting jeans and a selection beautiful casual shirts. Like an Emilia Fox type look. maybe try Mint velvet for nice jumpers?
