Jeans & Footwear for Cold Weather

I’m bringing my boys to London for the first time in December. We live in a warm climate so my current all-year round look is ankle length straight jeans with trainers, as skinnies are very much out of style where I live. A couple of questions:

Are Londoners still wearing skinnies? If so, with knee high boots/ankle boots?

If skinnies are a no, what style of jeans is everyone wearing and what kind of footwear corresponds so I look reasonably stylish but stay warm too?

Thanks!

I honestly think the style is so eclectic that anything goes. I see some people wearing skinny jeans with boots, some straight jeans with doc marten shoes, some mom jeans and chunky trainers etc. Outside of that I see cords, joggers, dresses with tights. There’s so much variety that I think anything can look cool. In December I’d favour boots over light trainers just for the rain/bad weather and to be comfy!

Agree that everything can look cool! And dress for your body type etc.

I like skinnies & high boots
or straight leg & trainers
