Good quality jumpers that don’t bobble

I feel the cold so wear a lot of jumpers. In general my wardrobe is a mix of basics from places like Uniqlo, charity shop bargains and the occasional higher end splurge. I want to buy a plain grey jumper to fill a gap in my wardrobe and can’t decide where to buy it. In fact, ideally would like something cheaper for around the house snd something more expensive for going out. If money was no object I would but jumpers from Brora and &daughters - but their prices have become ridiculous.

Any suggestions for things that don’t bobble within the first 5 minutes of wear?

I've liked the quality of Seasalt jumpers in the past.

And a Phillips battery operated debobbler (about £20) is a game changer.

Thanks! I always forget about seasalt.

I have a next one about £20 it’s lovely and warm and doesn’t bobble

I’ve been happy with my Uniqlo wool jumpers.

Ditto for Uniqlo, my merino ones still look new about 3 years in. Same for Cos.

Thanks - might try Uniqlo again

I've begun knitting again as I am so fed up with bobbles, even using a debobbler!
