A little bit random but as it’s our first Christmas with our dd we’ve decided to do a mini Christmas photo shoot with the photographer who took her newborn photos. When we got the newborn photos we didn’t get any family photos as I was 2 weeks postpartum and didn’t want to be in photos.
I’ll be 10 months postpartum by the time we have the photos done in 5 weeks and whilst I’m still not feeling great I’ve (finally) realised it’s more important to me to have some lovely photos of us as a family.
So I want to feel my best! I need a ‘party’ outfit for the photos and don’t know where to start. I was hoping you could all give tips on what photographs well? I’d prefer to stick to a festive colour (preferably red) and I’m open to dresses, jumpsuits, top and trousers (whatever really). I’m 5’3, size 12-14, mid 30s, I’ve got dark hair and pale skin and ideally want something to disguise/hide my tummy. Any ideas?
