How can I style a full fringe with no/minimal heat?

I have a full fringe that sits just on my eyebrows. I've always styled it using straighteners to get it to sit properly as if I don't do anything with it then it's a mess. Is there any way I can still get the straight fringe but without straightening? It's starting to feel quite damaged

You could try a round brush and hair dryer. It's still heat, but not as damaging as straighteners. Although, my hairdresser says as the fringe hair is getting trimmed often and never gets to be very old, straighteners shouldn't do any harm.
