These are their dresses:

But in this pale green colour with a cream ribbon:

All the metal in the jewellery will be yellow-gold coloured.

Necklace - will be all really sparkly crystals (no pearls).

So it will look like this but with the dropper bit...

These earrings - again sparkly crystals and no pearls, oh and they won't be on studs they will be on the fishook style posts not studs with backs.

They will have these headbands on

I know its fashionable for them not to match exactly but I like the matching look, they are both 24 and slim and petite btw. They chose the dresses so they do like them!

Lovely

suwoo · 27/01/2008 13:31

I agree- it all looks perfect for those dresses.

Kbear · 27/01/2008 13:33

REALLY nice. All of it.

smurfgirl · 27/01/2008 14:28

Thanks

very nice! (I could have made all that for you - well except the tiara, never tired one of those!)

Elphaba · 27/01/2008 18:16

Personally I would not have necklace or earrings - perhaps simple stud earrings (diamond or cubik zircona ones). Headbands are nice but, for me, the other things are pretty but too fussy.

bonkerz · 27/01/2008 18:23

georgeous. they will all feel very special!

smurfgirl · 27/01/2008 20:00

Whizz - wedding market is HUGE! You need to get a website and advertise in wedding magazines.

I have not ordered them yet, am waiting to double check the bridesmaids don't hate them.

OP posts:
Whizzz · 27/01/2008 20:03

but I'm not a huge business, I just like making pretty things! I actually prefer making things to order than making 'stock' items too

smurfgirl · 27/01/2008 20:15

I had forgot you made jewellery, was looking for ages for them too.

Can you make braclets like that?

OP posts:
Whizzz · 27/01/2008 21:08

Yes I could do, but it would be difficult to match something already made (if you see what I mean), without knowing the exact materials the others bits were made from

PanicPants · 27/01/2008 21:21

Smurfgirl - can I hijack?

What kind of dress/wedding you having, I've spend hours trying on dresses this week and I'm torn between the one i love, and the one I think I aught to have because of the low key reception I'm having (am having a church wedding though)

Haven't even thought about bridesmaids etc yet. I will have a my son as pageboy and a 4 year old bridesmaid, and then her mum who is 36 (can I call her bridesmaid? I have in my head - but she thinks she's too old.)

VVVQV · 27/01/2008 21:29

Whizzz made the jewellery for my bridesmaids and it was absolutely fantastic

panicpants - what colour scheme and how old is your ds?

smurfgirl · 27/01/2008 21:43

This is my wedding dress panicpants.

i164.photobucket.com/albums/u15/applegrl7/dress3.jpg

Its got no beading on it but it is quite 'big' I am having a church wedding with a country house hotel reception.

What dresses do you like?

OP posts:
smurfgirl · 27/01/2008 21:46

vvvqv can i see the necklaces?

do you have a photobucket with your necklaces on Whizz?

PanicPants · 27/01/2008 21:58

Thats beautiful smurfgirl. The ones I like are both strapless and A line. One is a bit more glittery than the other, but both are quite understated.

No idea, about colour schemes yet - I'm hopeless! The wedding is in 6 months. Whens yours?

PanicPants · 27/01/2008 21:59

Oh and ds will be nearly 3

CaptainCod · 27/01/2008 22:04

cant hey choose their own fakrign jeewllery at LEAST?

smurfgirl · 27/01/2008 22:04

Mine is in October - ages away I know, am bridezilla.

If you are not bothered about colour scheme can you go out shopping with your friend and find her an outfit and base your colourscheme around what she picks, that way you can find something perfect for her. Narrows things down for you too.

I am having cream and green 'theme'

You can see my ideas/pictures for the wedding here if its any help?

I think little ones look nice in just trousers and a nice shirt but if you want formal most of the high street shops do mini shirt and tie sets and BHS does a kiddie version of morning suits I think?

OP posts:
smurfgirl · 27/01/2008 22:05

No cod because one has no taste what so ever.

I usually dress her for balls/parties anyway tbh.

VVVQV · 27/01/2008 22:06

The necklaces are on whizzz's website. see here

I have a burgundy waistcoat and cravat, ivory shirt, black trousers and frock-coat for a 2-3 year old that I was going to stick on ebay.

PanicPants · 27/01/2008 22:07

{{PP now panics, that she hasn't thought about colour schemes, or even who will be on the questlist yet, let alone bridesmaids jewellery}}

Seriously, I have to make a decision on the dress quite soon now, the next thing will be the colours I think!

VVVQV · 27/01/2008 22:08

I also have an ivory and gold bridesmaid dress for DD that I was going to stick on ebay size 4-5 years.

serin · 27/01/2008 22:10

Love your dress Smurfgirl, and the bridesmaids dresses too.

DD nearly fits into my wedding dress these days!

Enjoy your day
