Advice for dry sun damaged skin?

This summer my DH (36) got burnt several times during the multiple heat waves from working outside and forgetting to wear any SPF. His skin looks so parched now and the skin around his eyes crinkle when he smiles.
He's attempting to look after his skin better now but neither of us are particularly skincare savvy and we're not sure what products would be most effective to help. I know the damage is now done, but perhaps a bit of intense rehydration might improve appearance around his eyes?

Any particular product/skin care routine suggestions for a face in need of serious TLC from would be appreciated! Aside from slapping on the SPF religiously from now on!

Thanks!

I've been using Exuviance Professional Skincare for about 18 months now and found a huge difference in my skin. I originally started it due to menopausal changes but also sun damage. I use the cleanser, moisturiser, this - www.allbeauty.com/gb/en/1228929-exuviance-professional-optilight-brightening-serum-30ml and a night cream, together with a professional facial every 6-8 weeks. I buy the products through allbeauty, so not paying full price which makes it more affordable.
