Could I buy men’s trousers?

Seen some cords in 28W/28L that would on the surface fit, but are they cut differently? I prefer not too high a rise.

I remember buying some mens Levi needle point cords and some Mens jeans years ago. It took the trying on of several pairs to get ones that actually fitted because men don’t tend to have the same hip width as women. Can you try them on?

It depends on your figure @TheOGCCL. They may well fit on a very "straight" boyish figure, but not on someone very curvy. I can't wear men's trousers at all. I am v curvy, and bottom heavy. Men's trousers tend to be much slimmer on the hip and round the thighs.

As others say, it depends on your shape. I do much better with men's trousers than women's if they come small enough as I'm not curvy at all. (In fact, could you link to your nice 28W/28L cords, as that's exactly my size!)

Hmmm, I’m very top heavy, an inverted triangle with slim hips and legs so might work!

@Sadik This is an eBay auction but was just looking at the Seasalt Lamledra cords and they come in a 28/28 (size 8, petite).

Most of my trousers are from the men's section, of which all of my jeans and shorts. I wear a belt and most of the times I do okay for sizing - some of the shorts are a bit too big, but with the belt it's fine.

However, recently I had a case of ordering my normal size (also 28w but longer) and on the waist/hips, it was so tight I couldn't zip them up at all, the 30w was a bit tight in the crotch to be comfortable, so that in effect the ones I could wear comfortably were 32W, which were great on the hips but gaping on the waist. Probably a cut issue, possibly also wtf sizing.
