Help me find a coat to go with wide legs

I'm 5 foot 1, size 10 to 12. Love wide legs with trainers, but need a coat now it's getting chillier. I'm thinking maybe a short coat so as not to swamp me? Any links would be fantastic.

I wear a lot of wide-legged trousers. I usually just chuck on my All Saints leather jacket - I live in the SE though so it's fairly mild through the winter.

I'm taller than you OP so forgive me if this doesn't work but I wear longer coats with wide legs all the time.

I also follow a fashion blogger on Instagram who is shorter and she still wears loner coats with them.

I would say as long as the jacket suits you and is proportional to your size i.e the sleeves aren't massively to long then it shouldn't swamp you.

Thanks, I do have 2 leather jackets I hadn't thought of. Must try the longer coats in store, maybe they will work.

Maybe try with a longer coat the same/similar colour of you trousers (if they are all similar to tones) as that will give you line from top to bottom which always looks good.
