Just looking for some winter boots and quite tempted by these Blundstone 510s. Something to last, comfortable, good for wide feet. Will be walking dog as well in them. Thank you.

I had some Blundstones once. I found them on sale for about £50. They lasted about 5 years of very regular use, walking fields and hiking the peak District etc. I'd have another pair in a heartbeat.... For £50..

For £155?.. that seems astronomical to me tbh.

Doc Marten Chelsea boots are about £160- 170 ATM, for comparison. (But I got mine on Vinted for £65!)

I almost bought some recently but they were a bit too pricey for me. I ordered these from Hoggs of Fife instead and am happy with them for now

@FourOclock those Hoggs boots look great! How is the fit?

My DH has had 2 pairs of blunnies in the 20 years we've been together so I'd expect them to last a long time (although he wears them in the garden/for DIY rather than going out for walks)

I have a pair I bought from Toast website, I rarely wear them as they are hard to get on, I have to really tug to get into them. Maybe I should have sized up, once on they fit fine.

JulesGeebee · 13/10/2022 10:07

Yes I have these and have been wearing blundstones since 1997 love them! Great for beach, country walks and really comfortable. Get them! You can buy new ones for about £120 on eBay

Podgedodge · 13/10/2022 10:09

Oh, nothing helpful to say except I love Hoggs of Fife as they used to be my next door neighbours!,

Porridgeislife · 13/10/2022 10:09

Interested as well. Can’t bring myself to pay £150 for Blundstones as it’s not that long ago they were sold for pennies (cents?) in the Australian equivalent of Matalan as cheap work shoes!
