Best shampoo/treatment for hair re growth

I’m in my mid 40s and my hair has started thinning out. It’s always been fine but it seems even thinner now. Any recommendations for shampoo or treatments that will actually work to create more growth, not just an illusion of thickness (although I’d be happy with both!)

Hair loss can be a symptom of thyroid issues. Might be worth a chat with your GP.

Nioxin. It's the only one I've tried that really works and I notice a huge difference whenever I stop using it.

I use the colour system for progressed thinning and it's brilliant. You can get online at a good cost from discount sites like feel unique and all beauty.

Get your ferritin levels checked - if it's under 70-80 get that sorted out before you try anything topical

I don’t feel like I’m particularly losing hair, it just feels really thin and limp. I’ve had my iron levels checked before and they were within normal
limits and I don’t think I have any other thyroid problems apart from the fact that I can’t seem to lose weight but I blame my total lack of willpower on that.
