What can I wear with this skirt?

I've just had an ad come up for a skirt on Amazon and I love the look of it but no idea what I could pair it with. I would want to wear it to a wedding and can't wear anything tucked in at the waist. Any ideas?

A black Bardot top would look nice with this

Chunky boots and a black knit

I'd already thought about wearing my docs so that's the chunky boots sorted. Bardot top is a good shout

Hi I've got a similar skirt. This one. I wear it with a scoop neck t shirt and trainers. Also sandals in summer and would wear it with boots, probably docs or something. Bardot top would be nice too.

If you're not tucking in, you could go for a ballet style wrapover top

A black sweater can look dowdy at a wedding. Maybe a boxy style silk top that is more cropped in length so you don't tuck in?

I have this skirt! In the summer, I wore it with a black cami or vest top. Wouldn't wear it in the autumn or winter

I'd wait till the skirt arrives to check the quality, and then decide if its suitable for a wedding. Sometimes things can look great online, but in reality, turn out to be cheap, thin polyester.

I'd normally say wear a black, 3/4 arm length wrap top- but absolutely no more black for a wedding. Is it a pale pink skirt background? Hard to tell. A mint green or dusty pink top might go. What is your own colouring and body shape? Pear/hourglass/triangle etc?

I’ve got a similar skirt to that and I have never actually worn it as I can’t find the right top to wear with it!
