What is your every day, casual favourite look?

Am looking for shops to discover! Decent quality, for every day stuff. Not super trend stuff, just nicely put together outfits for normal life.

I'm hopeless at this kind of thing, and am due to go shopping. I really need to renew my winter wardrobe as not much in it and it feels a bit tired. I used to just rely on a huge puffer so never thought much about what I wore underneath, I wfh so I think I just stopped caring or became lazy. I now hate the puffer and want to branch out and stop hiding!

I like a soft but good quality lounge look, nice fabrics, slightly loose bottoms and shorter tops. Luxe cuddly cardi, that sort of thing. Maybe a decent sweatshirt with girlfriend jeans or cargo trousers?
What's your go to for every day and where do you buy them?
Do you have a look you prefer for normal everyday stuff? If so please share.

Hush have some things you may like.

I was going to say Hush but I see @pompomdaisy beat me to it!

I don't like their knitwear, but they do have that slouchy thing going on. Will have a look to see what's new, thanks!

Anyone know how the quality is these days?

I think just go for a browse on the high street and see what you like the look of. I do a lot of wide-leg trousers with slightly cropped jumpers, and relaxed jeans with dimple shirts/blouses. I'm lusting after a wool cardigan from Celtic&Co but agree that White Company do really nice things too. I've recently had a lot of luck with COS trousers too - got a very comfortable pair of black corduroy ones

Dimple= simple!

Finisterre and baujken have good quality knitwear and casual sweatshirts, wool lounge pants.

I’ve recently been very pleasantly surprised with some items on the John Lewis Anyday collection.

I got a lovely sweatshirt today for just £17 (on sale from £25) that could easily pass as Hush or Mint Velvet. And got a pair of super comfy jeans two weeks ago as well for just £30.

I like arket for their alpaca jumpers with skinny jeans
They are oversized though
So you need to size down
I'm a 12/14 and either wear xs or s
Or I wear mini skirts / mini dresses ( mango , hush ,me and em ) with chunky boots ( reiss , dr. Martens )
I usually wear wool coats ( Zara , Hobbs , jigsaw ) they smarten up most casual outfits
If I'm just hanging around the house
I wear checked flannel shirts ( H&M , gap. Abercrombie ) Leggings / skinnies with converse

I’m recently converted to Free People. Prices are all over the place but with a bit of searching you can find really good stuff. Lost if natural fabrics too.

I have been doing lots of rocker/menswear/70s glam recently. Distressing jeans, deep unbuttoned shirts, belts and leather bracelets, studs. Leather boots, bucket bags. That’s for street wear, casual etc. Suspect my casual doesn’t fit with the definition, but it brings joy and takes no time at all to put together
